ABOUT

In 1987 Pan American bought Ransome Airlines and created the Pan Am Express division. 8 Dash-7 aircraft and 11 ATR-42 aircraft were used to feed the New York and Berlin hubs and the pilot lists were integrated. Expansion at the Miami hub in 1990 saw the introduction of 10 BAE Jetsream aircraft to serve the Florida and the Bahamas market. A small Dash-7 operation fed the Los Angeles - San Diego route.

December 4th 1991 Pan Am shut down and the Express division was sold to TWA.
